Awake liposuction is performed under local anesthesia with Pro‑Nox, an inhaled 50/50 mix of nitrous oxide and oxygen, as well as a combination of anti‑anxiety and anti‑nausea medications. The treatment areas are fully numbed. You'll feel like you've had a few glasses of wine: in a bit of a haze, but still able to talk with the team throughout your procedure.

We break up fat with a vibrating cannula or a VASER ultrasound device rather than a laser, which avoids the burn risk associated with laser liposuction. Incisions are tiny, only a few millimeters each, the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen.

Renuvion skin tightening, included with every procedure except buffalo hump liposuction, uses the same incision points, and its results appear gradually as your body rebuilds collagen in the treated area.
